Biography

Brent Green is a nationally recognized expert in marketing to Leading-Edge Baby Boomers, the “tip of the arrow” born between 1946 and 1955. With over $750 billion in annual spending power, this wealthy and influential cohort is rapidly changing the way businesses address adults 50 and older.

Author of "Marketing to Leading-Edge Baby Boomers: Perceptions, Principles, Practices, Predictions," Brent has spoken widely at national conferences and symposia on the Baby Boomer segment and the unprecedented reorientation of Western countries to aging populations.

Brent is a card-carrying member of the Leading-Edge cohort and has spent over 25 years marketing to and writing about this generation. His book is the ONLY business book with "marketing" and "Boomers" as its singular focus.

Established in 1986, Brent Green & Associates, Inc. provides integrated marketing communication programs for a diverse list of clients, with emphasis on direct response media, integrated promotions and marketing public relations. The firm has received over 50 regional, national and international awards for creative and strategic excellence.

Brent’s background in the health & fitness industry includes consulting assignments for EAS, Muscle Media, Men’s Fitness, and Men’s Health, and Best Life magazines. He was the marketing director for the U.S. Olympic Committee’s National Sports Festival and the World Cycling Championships.

Brent has served in a leadership capacity with many professional and public service organizations, including as board chairman of the Colorado Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau, board member for Junior Achievement, and as programming vice president for the Business Marketing Association and the Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing Association. He is also on the Leadership Council of the Business Forum on Aging for the American Society on Aging.
